Lymphomatoid granulomatosis

Lymphomatoid granulomatosis, also known as angiocentric lymphoma or angiocentric immunoproliferative lesion, is a rare type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma associated with Epstein-Barr virus infection. 

There is a recognized association with antecedent infection with the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV).  

It can affect a variety of organs: 

  • lung involvement: ~80% of cases 4

  • skin (cutaneous) involvement: 33-50% 2,4

  • CNS involvement: 20% 2
