Last revised by Henry Knipe on 12 Dec 2017

The medial calcaneal nerve is a terminal branch of the tibial nerve along with the medial and lateral plantar nerves in the tarsal tunnel at the level of the medial malleolus. It courses between the medial surface of the anterior calcaneus and abductor hallucis deep fascia, and has a sensory supply to skin of the medial heel and sole of the foot.
