The middle superior alveolar artery is a branch of the infraorbital artery. It branches off along the infraorbital canal and runs inferiorly along the lateral wall of the maxillary sinus towards the region of the upper canine and lateral incisor teeth. It supplies these teeth via an anastomotic network formed with the anterior and posterior superior alveolar arteries.
