The maxilla-mandible-nasion angle (MMN angle)is formed by two lines - one from the nasion to the anterior surface of the mandible, and another line drawn from the anterior surface of the mandible to the most anterior tip of the maxilla. In midfacial hypoplasia, this angle is ~14º versus normal cases the angle is ~20º 6.
