Search errors involve the reader allocating no time on the location of a lesion/abnormality.

Perceptual errors 

Perceptual errors involve the reader dedicating a short amount of time to the location of a lesion/abnormality; not enough time to recognise the lesion.

Decision-making errors 

Decision-making errors involve the reader dedicating a longer amount of time to the location of a lesion/abnormality; however making an incorrect decision as to its relevant identification.
