Orphan questions (multiple choice questions)

Last revised by Frank Gaillard on 11 Sep 2018

An orphan multiple choice question is one which has no meaningful related articles and should not be seen at the bottom of any other article.

This is rare and is only a 'work around' for questions included in courses or learning pathways created by some of our editorial staff.

So that we can create orphan questions and keep track of them, they should only be linked to this article.

How to create an orphan question

  1. write a question exactly how you would for any normal question
  2. you can add links to the explanation text as normal
  3. in the related articles section only link to this article (orphan questions)
  4. DO NOT link to any other articles in the related articles section
