An os intercuneiforme is a supernumerary tarsal bone located between the first and second cuneiforms, anterior to the navicular bone.

Gross pathology
An os intercuneiforme presents as a triangular-shaped bone appearing to be an isolated proximal corner of the medial cuneiform.
It is thought to belong rather to the medial than to the intermediate cuneiform 2.
Clinical presentation
Some authors claim that with its rare occurrence and small dimensions, the ossicle is not thought to be of any clinical significance 2.
