Pediatric radiology curriculum for medical students covers the fundamental imaging modalities, conditions and presentations on children that require imaging.

As expected and of more importance compared to adults, when considering imaging a child, the refer and Radiologist need to carefully consider the benefits and risks of exposing the patient to ionizing radiation.
