The pancreatic veins drain blood from the body and tail of the pancreas.

Gross anatomy

The pancreatic veins comprise several small vessels that together act to drain the body and tail of the pancreas, and open into the great pancreatic vein. This subsequently drains into the splenic vein ¹.
