Pelvic masses in females

Pelvic masses in females carry a broad differential diagnosis:

Extragynaecological masses, e.g. colorectal carcinoma, appendicular abscess, lymphadenopathy, peritoneal inclusion cyst, lymphocele 3, and mesenteric cyst 3 should always be considered.
