Pronator quadratus muscle is the most distal muscle that makes up the deepest layer of the anterior compartment of the forearm. It is one of the extrinsic muscles of the hand.
Summary
origin: anterior surface of distal quarter of ulnar shaft
insertion: anterior surface of distal quarter of radial shaft
arterial supply: anterior interosseous artery
innervation: anterior interosseous nerve
action: pronates the forearm
