Proposed editorial projects are listed here, providing a smorgasbord for future editorial projects. Generally these are added here by our editorial board. If you are a visitor or contributor and would like to suggest a project please write to editor-in-chief@radiopaedia.org.

All systems - Articles without cases
  • Type: systematic clean-up
  • Scope/endpoints: 
    • identify all articles without cases attached
    • identify articles that will not need cases attached (e.g. style guide, help articles)
    • add at least 3 cases to those articles where appropriate cases exist
    • add cases to illustrate articles where approriate
      • e.g. tie-in with OpenStax College Illustration project
    • make a database of articles that need cases (with no appropriate cases already on Radiopaedia.org)
    • removal of the "cases" tag if ≥3 cases attached to the article

Spine system
  • Type: systematic clean-up
  • Background: we have vacillated on whether or not 'spine' should be a system, and have decided it should, however much of the relevant content is either merely tagged with 'spine' or only under MSK or CNS. 
  • Scope/endpoints: 
    • create unifying spine snippet (spine tumour and anatomy already exist)
    • identify all articles that should belong to 'spine' system and add it (in addition to CNS or MSK as appropriate) 
    • identify all cases that should belong to 'spine' system and add it (in addition to CNS or MSK as appropriate) 
    • en passant edit articles and cases as appropriate 
  • Duration: 4-6 weeks

Trauma system
  • Type: systematic clean-up
  • Background: late 2015 the 'trauma' section was created. Only a handful of cases have trauma as a listed section. 
  • Scope/endpoints: identify all cases that should belong to the 'trauma' system and add it. This includes fracture cases.
  • Duration: 6 weeks
