Pulmonary blastomas comprise a rare group of lung tumors principally consisting of immature mesenchymal and epithelial structures that structurally mimic the embryonic lung.
Pulmonary blastomas are usually diagnosed in pediatric populations, however have been identified in young adults up to the fourth decade.
