Radiology informatics

Radiology informatics, also referred to as imaging informatics, is a subspecialty of radiology concerned with applying information science to radiology. Imaging informatics is part of the larger field of clinical informatics which is in turn part of biomedical informatics. Radiology informatics has some overlap with specific parts of the fields of medical physics, computer science, data science, and cognitive science.
