Scrotal cystocele

Scrotal cystocele is type of urinary bladder hernia, where the the bladder herniates into the scrotum.

  • asymptomatic
  • voiding problems
  • scrotal swelling

Scrotal sac will contain fluid. Emptying of a scrotal cystocele with voiding is an important diagnostic feature. Not demonstrating of a communication between the bladder and scrotum on sonography does not exclude the diagnosis. A mild beaking of the fluid filled scrotum, towards the urinary bladder may be the only evidence.
