The Society of Radiographers (SoR) is the professional membership organisation and trade union for radiographers in the United Kingdom. The College of Radiographers (CoR) is a charity subsidiary of the Society and is responsible for their education. Sometimes the two parts are conflated as the "Society and College of Radiographers (SCoR)".
History
The Society of Radiographers was established in 1920. In 1976 the educational activities of the Society were devolved into a distinct subsidiary, the College of Radiographers.
