Triceps tendinopathy

Triceps tendinopathy is the least uncommon tendon injury of the elbow, and most commonly presents as rupture.

There is a male predominance 1.

Triceps tendinopathy lies on a continuum from tendinosis, degeneration through to rupture 1,2. Rupture appears to be more common than partial tears/rupture and tendinopathy. Rupture most commonly occurs at the osteotendinous junction.
