Triceps tendinopathy

Pathology

Triceps tendinopathy can range from tendinosis through to complete rupture 1,2.

Rupture most commonly occurs at the osteotendinous junction. Rupture appears to be more common than partial tears/rupture (which are more common medially) and tendinosis 2.
