Trochlear apparatus calcification in the orbit is a common incidental finding on CT of the head, found in ~12.5% of patients. Some studies have suggested an association with diabetes mellitus in younger patients 3. An association has also been demonstrated with autoimmune disease and elevated ALP 1,2.
