Tulip bulb sign

Tulip bulb sign refers to characteristic appearance due to dilatation of sinuses of Valsalva slightly extending into the ascending aorta as seen on CT scan of chest. 

It is seen especially in Marfan's syndrome.

On CT angiography, aneurysm of the aortic root with effacement of sinotubular junction and aortic regurgitation are seen.
