Presentation

Facial trauma, right orbital pain, and suddenly decreased visual acuity.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

Right eye cornea, lens, and uveo-scleral layer with the penetrated dense foreign body with metallic artifact within upper temporal side uveo-scleral layer and vitreous body are seen. Another dense foreign body penetrated within the right upper eyelid is also seen.

Case Discussion

The case illustrates the non-contrast MDCT features of ocular globe rupture due to penetrated metallic foreign body. This kind of cases need urgent management. Urgent appropriate management can lead to useful vision 1
