Presentation

Progressive neurological symptoms.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
mri

Findings are characteristic of multiple sclerosis, demonstrating multiple periventricular white matter hyperintensities arranged in a perivenular distribution. Note also the numerous posterior fossa and spinal cord lesions. In the lateral aspect of the right frontal lobe, a juxtacortical lesion demonstrates contrast enhancement.

Case Discussion
