Psoriatic arthritis of the hands and feet

Patient with a known history of psoriasis

Patient Data

Gender: Female

X-rays demonstrate a symmetric erosive arthropathy involving predominantly the distal joints of the hands and feet.

There are occasional pencil-in-cup deformities and ankylosis of multiple joints.  In the feet, erosions with subluxation involve the 2nd to 5th MTP joints bilaterally.

Features are in keeping with an advanced psoriatic arthropathy.
