What further imaging options are available to confirm the diagnosis?
Usually the easiest modality to organise (often ordered at the same time as the initial scan) is a CT angiogram. Alternatives include MRI / MRA which is useful if emergency management is not required. Catheter angiography is still the gold standard for the characterisation of a vascular malformation, and also can be used therapeutically.
