A calculus coronal height up to 7 mm in the left side ureter proximal segment with pronounced hydroureteronephrosis upstream is seen. A few scattered small calculi up to 2-3 mm in kidneys are also seen.
Case Discussion
The case illustrates non-contrast MDCT features of proximal segment ureterolithiasis with upstream hydroureteronephrosis. Calculi are the major cause of ureteric obstruction which in chronic and recurrent cases can lead to chronic renal disease.
