Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Left hip pain for the last 2 years. No trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

USG was done first.

ultrasound

Left hip intra-articular tiny echogenic foci without effusion. No echogenic foci/effusion in the right hip joint.

x-ray

Tiny densities along the medial-lateral cortex of the left femur neck. Multiple, small, well-defined, sclerotic foci involving bilateral hip and femur bones. No bone injury.

Case Discussion

Radiographic and ultrasound findings of left hip synovial chondromatosis without degenerative hip changes. Radiographic findings of multiple bone islands which are one of the leave alone lesions.

MRI was done later showing similar findings (no copyright, not uploaded).
