Presentation
Sport injury 15 days ago.
Patient Data
Eccentric polycyclic lucent lesion with a thin peripheral sclerotic rim involving the medial aspect of the upper fibular shaft. The long axis of the lesion is parallel to that of the bone. A callus formation is noted at the medial aspect of the lesion.
Expansile eccentric multiloculated cortical lucent lesion with peripheral sclerotic rim, involving the medial aspect of the fibula suggestive of non-ossifying fibroma.
A small linear fracture is noted at the medial aspect of the fibula well-demonstrated on axial and 3D-VR images with an adjacent callus formation.
Case Discussion
CT features of a pathological fracture through an expansile eccentric multiloculated cortical lucent lesion most consistent with a non-ossifying fibroma.
