Case Discussion

A case of an incidental long standing calcified meningioma on an outpatient cognitive decline workup CT head.

Meningiomas are one of a number of incidental findings identified on CT head.  Others include; arachnoid cysts and callosal dysgenesis.

This is unlikely to require further action and not contributory to the patient's cognitive status.

The presence and type of calcification can vary greatly within meningiomas.
