Colloid cyst of the third ventricle

A well-defined T1 hyperintense and T2 hypointense intracranial cystic lesion is noted at the level of foramina of Monro in third ventricle with obstructive dilatation of both lateral ventricles. Mild periventricular CSF permeation with effaced cerebral sulci are noted.
Case Discussion
Imaging features are characteristic of colloid cyst - third ventricle with obstructive hydrocephalus.
The patient underwent surgical excision of the cysic lesion.
