Schatzker type III fractures of the tibial plateau are one of the mostmore common of all tibial plateau fracture types 1, involving pure depression of the lateral tibial plateau. It was noted that Of note were the patient in this case had's porotic bone, hencebones resulting in a higher possibility of such an injury occuring.
Post-operative notes:
K wires drilled into fragment for joystick technique
fracture reduced with bone clamps and held with K wires
compression plate positioned and held with K wires
sequential insertion of locking screws done
