Case Discussion

The above images demonstrate the right knee post-operation status with implants in-situ. The lateral image explicitly shows a transverse fracture of the patella on the right leg. There is also soft tissue swelling noted. Patella fractures are usually caused by direct force/ trauma applied. The knee was visibly bruised and swollen with tenderness around patella. The patient was fitted with a knee brace while waiting for surgery in the coming days.
