Case contributed by Mohammad Taghi Niknejad
Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Bilateral breast palpable masses on physical exam.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Female

Two hyperdense masses in the left breast and one on the right breast show marginal irregularity and spiculation containing fine calcifications, causing surrounding parenchymal distortion (BI-RADS 5).

Case Discussion

Ultrasound guided core needle biopsy was performed for the bilateral breast masses, and histopathology evaluation confirmed invasive lobular carcinoma, which is more often multicentric and bilateral (10-15%).
