The last vertebra with lumbar morphology will be designated as L5.

Case Discussion
Prevalence of lumbosacral transitional vertebra is about 4%–30%.
Identification of lumbar transitional vertebra is important cause this may lead to mismanagement of patients ( surgical procedure at wrong spinal level) with resultant poor out comes.
