Calcaneal fracture

A calcaneal fracture is a common fracture that involves the tarsal bone. Bohler angle is used for the assessment of calcaneal fracture. Bohler angle is taken on lateral foot radiograph, and the normal Bohler angle is between 25 to 40 degrees. Gissane angle is used to assess the severity of the calcaneal fracture; however, it is not widely practiced clinically.
