Multiple planes
Well-defined echogenic focus (14 x 13 x 6 mm) without acoustic shadowing involving the supraspinatus tendon - calcification. Extra-tendinous extension of the calcification deep to the subacromial-subdeltoid bursa. The rest of the rotator cuff tendons are normal. Minimal effusion of the subacromial-subdeltoid bursa. Normal muscle bellies of the supraspinatus and infraspinatus muscles. No glenohumeral joint effusion.
