A homogeneously enhancing lesion, measuring approx. 6.3 x 16 x 16 mm (AP x TD x CC) is seen in prepontine cistern on right side along posterosuperior aspect of clivus. The lesion is indenting right trigeminal nerve at the level of porus trigeminus laterally, dorsum sellae anteriorly, basilar artery medially and pons posteriorly. No obvious extension into right Meckel’s cave or cavernous sinus is seen.

No significant focal lesion is seen in rest of the brain parenchyma.

Asymmetric prominence of left cerebellomedullary cistern / small left cerebellomedullary arachnoid cyst is seen (likely incidental finding).

Case Discussion

Findings are consistent with prepontine cistern meningioma on right side and this is the likely cause of patient's symptoms due to indentation of right trigeminal nerve.
