Posterior cruciate ligament avulsion fracture

- moderate lipohemarthrosis
- avulsion fracture arising from the tibial insertion of the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) with no obvious displaced fragment (type I) associated with adjacent edema of the bone marrow and surrounding soft tissues
- abnormal intrasubstance increased fluid signal and thickening along the course of ACL fibers related to ACL sprain
- abnormal intrasubstance increased fluid signal and fibers discontinuity along the course of MCL upper half fibers related to MCL tear
