Cutaneous metastases - breast cancer

Medial left breast / chest wall mass, with intramuscular invasion into pectoralis major and extension into the fourth intercostal space. Cutaneous thickening of the inferior left breast with extensive fat stranding, extending into the left flank with numerous subcutaneous and cutaneous nodules.
No evidence of nodal disease or hematogenous metastases.
Anterior left lung post radiation change.
Case Discussion
Cutaneous/subcutaneous metastases are not uncommon, with breast cancer being a leading primary tumor where they most commonly occur in the ipsilateral chest. Their presence is a poor prognostic sign.
