Hepatocellular carcinoma

Discussion:

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common primary malignancy of the liver and strongly associated with cirrhosis. It is typically diagnosed in late middle-aged or elderly adults and is more common in males. On CT images, usually, the mass enhances vividly during late arterial. It then washes out rapidly, becoming indistinct or hypoattenuating in the portal venous phase compared to the rest of the liver.
