Presentation

Refractory epilepsy.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male
mri

Two nodules along the left lateral ventricular wall (one of them at the level of trigone and the other at the level of the occipital horn), follow grey matter signal on all sequences.

Hypogenesis of the posterior part of the corpus callosum, resulting in dilatation of the trigones and occipital horns of the lateral ventricles.

Case Discussion

Findings are compatible with subependymal heterotopia, associated with partial callosal dysgenesis.
