Marked thickening and increased signal intensity of the proximal patellar tendon where intratendinous lesion is recognizable. In addition, there is concomitant deep infrapatellar bursitis with oedema of the Hoffa’s pad and oedema of the bone marrow in the inferior pole of the patella at the site of tendon’s attachment. The remaining objectivity is normal.
