- few bilateral variable-sized subependymal nodules, elicit iso signal at T1 and low signal at T2 and FLAIR sequences
- bilateral cerebral cortical and subcortical patches of abnormal signal, eliciting low signal at T1 WI and being of high signal at T2 & FLAIR sequences
Case Discussion
Known case of tuberous sclerosis with two major features of the disease on MRI (according to the TS diagnostic criteria) including cortical/subcortical tubers and subependymal nodules.
