Ascending colo-colic intussusception due to lipoma

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

Fatty mass in lumen of hepatic flexure, with a "coiled spring" appearance in the ascending colon. Ingested contrast has passed beyond the lipoma into the transverse colon, demonstrating there is no obstruction of the colonic lumen.

This case illustrates the typical appearances of an albeit large pedunculated colonic lipoma resulting in intussusception.
