Dysarthria and ataxia.

Patient Data

Gender: Male

3 days after symptom onset

Patient was scanned three days after onset of symptoms. CT demonstrates hypodense lesions in both cerebellar hemispheres (right > left), the largest confined to the right superior cerebellar artery territory.

MRI demonstrated the CT corresponding areas to show diffusion restriction with corresponding high T2/FLAIR signal edema.
