Presentation

Referred by ENT specialist for recurrent sinusitis several years after polypectomy. Mild headaches.

Patient Data

Age: 9 years
Gender: Female

T1 hypointense and T2 hypertintense mass lesion with high signal in DWI and no contrast enhancement located between the right sphenoid wings and sinus and the MCA. Digitate extension towards the frontal lobe.

Case Discussion

Path proven epidermoid cyst. A mucocele of the left sphenoid sinus is also present.
