Tuberculosis of foot

Presentation

Dorsum foot swelling for few months.

Patient Data

Gender: Male
x-ray

Periarticular erosion is present, involving Lisfrank joint and intertarsal joints with overlying soft tissue density swelling.

ultrasound

Effusion with echoes are noted involving navicular - cuneiform joint and 1st to 4th Lisfranc Joints. Periarticular erosion is present. Significant erosion of navicular and medial cuneiform is noted.

Joint effusion shows extension in subcutaneous plane. Two collections are noted.

Medial to dorsalis pedis - 31 x 28 x 17 mm. Lateral to dorsalis pedis - 14 x 12 x10 mm.

Mild tenosynovitis is seen in medial tendons. No tendon tear is seen.
