Patient Data
Note: This case has been tagged as "legacy" as it no longer meets image preparation and/or other case publication guidelines.
Cystic pituitary mass eroding the sellar floor.
Cystic mass with enhancing mural nodule in the left superior margin, eroding the sellar floor. Pituitary stalk and remainder of the gland displaced towards to the right.
Case Discussion
Bland nature of the cyst fluid and absence of calcification means that craniopharyngioma is unlikely. The enhancing mural nodule indicates that this is not a Rathke cleft cyst which can have intracystic "dots" but these are non-enhancing.
