CT
CT thorax coronal view demonstrates a right Bochdalek hernia. There is herniation of peritoneal fat through a congenital diaphragmatic defect, Bochdalek foramen, in the posterolateral right hemidiaphragm. Bochdalek hernia is usually left sided and maybe an incidental finding in as high as 10% of asymptomatic adult 1. As demonstrated in this case, the herniation content is usually retroperitoneal fat and less often kidney (right sided).
