There is a soft tissue mass centered within the left maxillary sinus which extends into the left nasal cavity. There is resultant osseous destruction of the left uncinate process, thinning and demineralization of the posterolateral wall of the left maxillary sinus, left orbital floor, and left lamina papyracea.
Soft tissue within the left nasal cavity results in demineralization and destruction of the left superior and middle turbinates. Furthermore, the soft tissue mass extends cephalad the results in subtle demineralization of the cribriform plate on the left.
Soft tissue extends into the extraconal fat of the left orbital floor resulting in proptosis of the left globe as well as lateral displacement of the left medial and left inferior rectus muscles. There is may be involvement of the V2 division of the left trigeminal nerve as the infraorbital canal is completely demineralized.
There is complete effacement of the left sphenopalatine foramen. There is subtle infiltration of the fat within the pterygopalatine fossa as well as the left pterygomaxillary fissure.
The left superior orbital fissure, left foramen rotundum, and the left vidian canal display normal morphology.
