Presentation

Recent paresthesia of the left lower leg. Known spina bifida with MMC. A cutaneous defect had been closed in early childhood.

Patient Data

Age: 60
Gender: Female
mri

Spina bifida, cord tethering and hydromyelia. Multilocular cystic lesion extruding into the subcutaneous tissue. One cyst shows higher signal on T1 and lower on T2, probably due to proteinaceous content.
